Good news for the Jaguars, as LT Cam Robinson will reportedly be available to return from Sunday's knee injury in three to six weeks.

The Jacksonville Jaguars will reportedly be without their starting left tackle Cam Robinson for three to six weeks after Robinson left Sunday's Houston Texans road victory with a left knee injury.

As many will recall, Robinson missed the final three 2022 regular season games and two playoff games with a right meniscus injury, before starting this season with a four-game suspension. Robinson was recently reinstated back in October and has remained the starting left tackle for the last two months since the week five Buffalo Bills victory. Robinson's pass-blocking prowess will be missed in the interim.

Cam may be a candidate for injured reserve, with the ability to return in four weeks. However, that decision remains with the team doctors and staff currently. At the longer end of the recovery timeline, Robinson would be able to return by the wildcard round of the playoffs.

On the field, the Jaguars are extremely fortunate to have the depth they have in swing tackle Walker Little and recently acquired Ezra Cleveland at left guard. At left tackle, before Robinson's reinstatement, Little did well in manning the tackle role for the first four games of 2023. Based on his level of play early in the year, it's possible that the line's overall impact could be minimal.

The Jaguars look to have dodged a bullet with this not being a season-ending injury and Robinson could be available for the coming playoff push without needing to be rushed back. The offensive line still looks to be more than capable, thanks to the great building of depth by Jaguars' general manager Trent Baalke.

The Jaguars have now officially placed Robinson on injured reserve after the initial report. The earliest he may return to the field of play will be week 17 versus the Carolina Panthers.
