Check out Episode 73 of the JaguarReport Podcast, hosted by Gus Logue and John Shipley.
My hot take this week is that Trevor Lawrence will finish second in MVP voting.
The Jaguars are heating up at the right time and have the AFC’s no. 1 seed in sight (which is a big deal for the award). In the past two weeks, Lawrence has tallied 626 yards and 6 total touchdowns. He performed like the best quarterback not named Mahomes in the second half of last season, and it looks like 2023 could yield a similar outcome.
This guy is flat-out playing like an MVP.

Lawrence set a career-high in total Expected Points Added against the Texans, despite a dropped 30-yard touchdown and three other drops. He’s also posted a 90-plus passer rating in 7 of his last 8 games.
