Report: Colts place CB Tony Brown and WR Isaiah McKenzie on reserve/suspended list for rest of season

Both Indianapolis Colts’ cornerback Tony Brown and wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie have been placed on the reserve/suspension list for the rest of the 2023 season.

“The Indianapolis Colts have placed cornerback Tony Brown and wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie on the reserve/suspended list for the remainder of the 2023 season for ‘conduct detrimental to the tea,’ according to multiple reports.”

Where do the Texans land after their victory against the Titans?

“Average Ranking: 13 (Last Week Average: 12.5)”

Tennessee Titans (via Music City Miracles)

Titans HC Mike Vrabel: ‘Ryan Tannehill is the QB if Will Levis is sidelined’

“Tennessee Titans head coach Mike Vrabel announced that Ryan Tannehill will be the starting quarterback against the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday if Will Levis is sidelined by injury. Levis is dealing with a high-ankle sprain. Vrabel made the announcement while speaking with local members of the media on Wednesday afternoon. “

Miami Dolphins (via The Phinsider)

Miami Dolphins activate RB Chris Brooks off IR, waive LB Jason Pierre-Paul

Brooks is averaging 6.3 yards on 15 carries for the Dolphins.

“The Miami Dolphins announced on Tuesday afternoon that running back Chris Brooks was activated off injured reserve, and that linebacker Jason Pierre-Paul was waved from the 53-man roster.”

New England Patriots (via Pats Pulpit)

Patriots reportedly claim quarterback Nathan Rourke off waivers from Jaguars

In additional movement, halfback Ke’Shawn Vaughn will join the practice squad.

“Rourke, 25, joins Bailey Zappe and Mac Jones in the quarterback room. His arrival on the 53-man roster in Foxborough will require a corresponding move. The British Columbia native spent one season at Fort Scott Community College before transferring to Ohio University, where he started 39 games and totaled 7,457 passing yards, 2,639 rushing yards as well as 20 receiving yards. His Bobcats career spanned a combined 121 touchdowns against 20 interceptions.”

Buffalo Bills (via Buffalo Rumblings)

Buffalo Bills pass two in AFC Playoff Picture with win over Dallas Cowboys

The Bills have some work to do to make the postseason.

“The Minnesota Vikings and Tennessee Titans both took their opponents to overtime, but the Cincinnati Bengals and Houston Texans both won their games. They remain ahead of the Bills on tiebreakers. The Chicago Bears also lost late to the Cleveland Browns, who are a game ahead of the Bills in the Wild Card race.”

New York Jets (via Gang Green Nation)

Aaron Rodgers says he isn’t 100 percent healed from Achilles injury

It doesn’t sound like the quarterback is returning this season.

“With the Jets officially eliminated from postseason contention in Week 15, a Rodgers return now seems like a long shot. There is nothing to be gained for the team. Rodgers seemed to confirm as much during his weekly segment on Pat McAfee’s show.”

Kansas City Chiefs (via Arrowhead Pride)

Examining injuries to Chiefs’ RB Isiah Pacheco and WR Skyy Moore

The second-year running back is set to return — while Moore will miss the remainder of the regular season.

“On Christmas Day, the Kansas City Chiefs’ offense should get a needed boost when running back Isiah Pacheco returns for the team’s home game against the Las Vegas Raiders. The starting running back has missed the previous two games with a shoulder contusion, followed by a cleanup surgery.”

Denver Broncos (via Mile High Report)

Russell Wilson will establish his future with the Broncos over the next three weeks

The Denver Broncos are on the mend and so is Russell Wilson. How he plays over the next 3 games will have a big impact on his future with the team.

“The Denver Broncos have made it exciting at the end of the season in Broncos Country for the first time in years. Sean Payton has proven that he’s still got the goods as a head coach. But the question at some point will turn to whether or not Russell Wilson has proven he is who Payton wants to keep working with.”

Los Angeles Chargers (via Bolts from the Blue)

Chargers fire HC Brandon Staley, GM Tom Telesco

Brandon Staley is out after less than three full season as head coach and Tom Telesco is gone after nearly 11 seasons as general manager.

“The Chargers did not wait until the end of the season after all to fire both Brandon Staley and Tom Telesco. After Thursday night’s embarrassing 63-21 loss to the Las Vegas Raiders in primetime, owner Dean Spanos has officially decided to make sweeping changes, starting with his head coach and general manager.”

Las Vegas Raiders (via Silver and Black Pride)

Silver Minings: Raiders are 3-and-out kings to start games

Las Vegas leads league in key opening drive stat

“Furthermore, according to the Associated Press, the Raiders are just the first NFL defense, to force, at least, eight 3-and-outs through the first 15 weeks of the season (the Raiders) had their bye in Week 13). The last time it was done was in 2009, but the San Francisco 49ers.”

Cincinnati Bengals (via Cincy Jungle)

Ja’Marr Chase likely to miss Steelers game and potentially longer

Not the news Cincinnati wanted.

“According to Ian Rapoport, the expectation is Chase’s separated shoulder will at least cost him this week’s game at Pittsburgh, and there’s a real chance he misses Week 17 at the Kansas City Chiefs.

This comes after Chase had an MRI on Monday, which must have not produced the results Cincinnati was hoping for.”

Baltimore Ravens (via Baltimore Beatdown)

What are the odds? Top-seeded Ravens are underdogs vs. top-seeded 49ers

Ravens enter Week 16 as road underdogs

“It’s not wrong to think the Ravens are underdogs. The 49ers are strong, talented and deep just about everywhere. Their biggest stars on defense are positioned where the Ravens’ offense appears weakest, too, as tackles Ronnie Stanley and Morgan Moses have struggled. This will give a smile to pass rushers Nick Bosa and Chase Young.”

Pittsburgh Steelers (via Behind the Steel Curtain)

Steelers Injury News: QB Kenny Pickett spotted at practice

The Steelers quarterback has missed the last two games with an ankle injury

“The Steelers lost to the Cardinals, and the subsequent two games to the Patriots and Colts, respectively, falling to 7-7. Head coach Mike Tomlin said the door was “ajar” for Pickett to play this Saturday against the Bengals, but that the Steelers are planning to start Mason Rudolph if he can’t suit up.”

Cleveland Browns (via Dawgs by Nature)

Browns place claim on big DT, lose out due to record

Texans, Cleveland’s Week 16 opponent, were awarded Teair Tart

“Last week, the Tennessee Titans waived DT Teair Tart, a starter on their defensive line, for what was reported as effort and attitude issues. Tart was claimed off waivers by the Houston Texans but Cleveland also put a claim in on him”
