Thursday Night Football kicks off tonight at 8:15 p.m. ET as the Cleveland Browns host the New York Jets at Cleveland Browns Stadium. The Browns are 7.5-point favorites, according to our friends at DraftKings Sportsbook, and the total is set at 34 points.
The biggest thing I’m watching for tonight is 38-year-old Joe Flacco in a revenge game of sorts. He was with the Jets for the past three seasons, but after Aaron Rodgers went down in Week 1 this year, New York erroneously stuck with Zach Wilson -- allowing the Browns to scoop up Flacco following Deshaun Watson’s season-ending injury.
Flacco is 3-1 as Cleveland’s starter this season, including wins against the AFC South’s Jaguars and Texans. The Browns are now 10-5 with a better record than all but five NFL teams.
Can Flacco stay hot this week against his former team/the best defense he’ll have faced all year?
Here are our staff’s picks for tonight’s game.
This is now an open thread. Let us know your TNF thoughts in the comments below!
