Jaguars vs Bengals: Player prop bets for Week 13

Our favorite Jaguars player props for Week 13 against the Bengals.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are taking on the Cincinnati Bengals at 8:15 p.m. ET on Monday. Here are our favorite player prop bets (via DraftKings Sportsbook) for this week’s contest.

Trevor Lawrence over 20.5 completions (-120)

Lawrence has failed to reach 20 completions just three times since last year’s bye: a 40-14 loss at Detroit, a 31-3 win at Houston, and a 34-3 loss to San Francisco. I think Cincinnati can keep this game close enough to where C.J. Beathard won’t see any snaps.

Joe Mixon under 49.5 rushing yards (-110)

It’s been a fun ride betting against opposing running backs this season. The Jaguars have allowed the second-lowest success rate on the ground, and the lowest on early downs. Mixon isn’t the same player he was a few years ago; his 9.2% breakaway rate (percentage of runs going for 15-plus yards, per PFF) ranks 49th among 55 running backs this year.

Calvin Ridley over 56.5 receiving yards (-115)

It’s never not a Calvin Ridley week. On Monday, he’ll face a Bengals defense that’s allowed the fifth-highest yards per target to wide receivers this season (9.2). Cincinnati also ranks dead last in yards allowed per play (6.2) and explosive plays allowed per game (7.7).

Evan Engram over 42.5 receiving yards (-125)

Despite not yet scoring a touchdown this year, Engram has surpassed 40 receiving yards in 8 of 11 games. The Bengals (31st in yards allowed to tight ends) just let Pat Freiermuth pop off for a career-high 9 catches and 120 yards in Pittsburgh’s first game sans Matt Canada.

Josh Allen over 0.75 sacks (-125)

The best non-quarterback on Jacksonville’s roster is making a legitimate case for DPOY; Josh Allen’s 12 sacks and 22 quarterback hits each rank fifth among all defenders. He has a juicy matchup this week against Orlando Brown Jr., who’s been the worst offensive lineman by total blown blocks (32, per SIS) and total pressures allowed (44, per PFF) this season. Look for Allen to have a statement primetime performance amid his all-time contract season.

Jaguars Defense/Special Teams anytime touchdown scorer (+550)

Only Tommy DeVito and Tim Boyle have allowed pressures to turn into sacks at a higher rate than Cincinnati’s Jake Browning this season (31.8%, per PFF). Browning has been pressured on 40% of dropbacks, and in his sole start last week, the Steelers collected 19 pressures. Can’t you just smell a strip sack?
