For the first time since the 2020 season, the Jacksonville Jaguars will not be starting quarterback Trevor Lawrence. Lawrence, who will miss his first professional game with injury, is out on Sunday with a shoulder injury he suffered in the previous game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Not only will the Jaguars be without Lawrence, but they’re also in the midst of a four game losing stream and teetering at the top of the AFC South.

On the flipside the 2-13 Carolina Panthers come to town nearly winning two games in a row. The Panthers picked up their second win of the season two weeks ago and nearly beat the Green Bay Packers last week. While the Panthers are clearly the worst team in the NFL, the way the Jaguars have been playing lately it’s tough to see them beating anyone, but a win on Sunday is critical for the Jaguars playoff hopes to remain alive.
