John and I discussed the Jaguars’ Week 14 matchup with the Browns and gave our best guesses as to whether Trevor Lawrence will suit up.

Here’s what Doug Pederson said about his quarterback’s health on Friday:

(On if Lawrence will play on Sunday) “He’s feeling good, we’ll see. He moved around a little bit yesterday, see how he does today. Kind of base it on medical staff, how Trevor feels, and if he can go or not.”

(On if Lawrence will be listed as questionable) “Yes.”

(On if Lawrence will a game day decision to play) “Probably so, yes. Probably so.”

(On the weather and field conditions impacting a decision on Lawrence) “Maybe some, but not a whole lot. It’s much more on Trevor and how he feels, really talking to the doctors and seeing medically if he’s not in any harm.”

My hot take this week is that the Browns will accrue 0 quarterback hits, regardless of who starts at quarterback for the Jaguars. I expect Jacksonville’s coaches to emphasize getting the ball out quickly against a daunting Cleveland pass rush with Lawrence (ankle) and backup C.J. Beathard (shoulder) both nursing injuries.

What’s your hot take for this week’s contest, Jaguars fans?
