1:13 p.m.

Houston received the first-half kickoff and went three-and-out. On Jacksonville’s first drive, Calvin Ridley dropped a sure touchdown and Brandon McManus missed a 48-yard field goal to give the Texans the ball back.

1:19 p.m.

C.J. Stroud connected with Tank Dell for 46 yards to set up a 1-yard goal-line plunge by Dameon Pierce.

Jaguars 0, Texans 7.

1:27 p.m.

It’s not great, Bob!

1:34 p.m.

Houston picked up a pair of first downs, but pressure from Josh Allen on 3rd-and-5 forced the Texans to punt.

Jacksonville will begin its third offensive drive with 1:43 remaining in the first quarter.

1:56 p.m.

Ridley dropped another pass (due to a tough hit over the middle of the field) and McManus missed another kick (due to a block by Will Anderson).

Houston scored on the ensuing possession on a four-yard pass to Brevin Jordan.

Jaguars 0, Texans 14.

2:07 p.m.

The Jaguars faced 4th-and-1 near midfield. Ridley picked up the first down... before the refs called out Brandon Scherff for illegal use of hands. Jacksonville punted again.

We’re ready to call it.

2:21 p.m.

Houston went three-and-out and Jacksonville started driving down the field again -- until Jamal Agnew caught a 15-yard pass and fumbled the ball away to the Texans.

The Jaguars are discovering a new way not to score every drive.

2:31 p.m.

Houston kicked a field goal as time expired in the first half to extend its lead.

HALFTIME: Jaguars 0, Texans 17.

2:59 p.m.

Jacksonville finally hits pay dirt with a 1-yard score by Tank Bigsby. It was set up by another touchdown drop by Ridley, but this time, the Texans were called for pass interference to set the Jaguars up at the goal line.

Houston went three-and-out on its ensuing drive. Jags will get the ball back with under 10 minutes remaining in the third quarter.

Jaguars 7, Texans 17.

3:08 p.m.

The Jaguars make it a one-score ball game with a 33-yard kick by McManus, set up by a 28-yard gain by Evan Engram. Let Doug cook!

3:17 p.m.

Well, that was quick.

Fullback Andrew Beck returned Jacksonville’s kickoff for a touchdown.

Jaguars 10, Texans 24.

3:32 p.m.

After Houston’s special teams score, Trevor Lawrence threw an interception. The Texans drove downfield and ate some clock before kicking a 26-yard field goal.

Jacksonville will get the ball back with 12:36 remaining in the game.

3:43 p.m.

Jacksonville responds with a 6-play, 75-yard drive capped off by a Christian Kirk 26-yard touchdown. But the Texans come right back with a big score of their own, a 68-yard bomb to Tank Dell.

That’s a wrap. Houston notches yet another victory in Jacksonville.
