Well, at least we're going to the playoffs for Campbells Cunky Soups! I wish our record in the real NFL was 16-0... Hate to say it, but the Packers win this thing by a huge margin every year that I've visited the site. Start clicking once a day (for the Jaguars, of course) and help those less fortunate than us AND help the Jaguars go to the Super Soup Bowl??
Normally I'm not one to give "shock" headlines the time of day, but this is another SBN blog, and sadly he does have something of a point.
Yes, the Jaguars are still, somehow not eliminated from the playoff race and can even get the #5 seed with some help. If you want to give yourself some kind of hope click the link.
The Jaguars gave their all, well except for Reggie Nelson, but could not end the Colts undefeated run. Now the road to the playoffs has to go through Foxborough. The Jaguars take on Tom Brady and the Patriots.
Well, I think he should be demoted and see how he reacts. I kinda think he'll end up in the same boat... barely above water. I sure hope I'm wrong, but.... yeah.
Mock Draft--Please Read ALL 17. Jacksonville Jaguars: Tim Tebow, QB, Florida Pro Football Talk recently published a story speculating that the NFL owners have agreed to allow Tim Tebow to slide all the way down to Jacksonville in the 2010 NFL Draft. There's no question that Tebow needs to fix certain things in his game, including his footwork, release and comfort in a pro-style offense. However, he's the only one who can save the Jaguars. You'd expect any 7-6 NFL team to be able to sell out home games. However, that's not the case in Jacksonville. Thousands of seats are empty every Sunday. The exception was the Dolphins game, where 60,000 people filled the seats. Unfortunately, most of them were Miami fans. When the Dolphins scored a touchdown, it seemed as though everyone in the stands stood up and cheered. It was pathetic. Some experts believe Tebow won't be able to transition to the NFL. I don't completely agree with them - Alex Smith and Vince Young's improvement has strengthened my argument - but it's not about Tebow being an NFL quarterback here, and it has absolutely nothing to do with his draft stock. This selection simply makes all the sense in the world because Tebow is an iconic figure in Florida, and thousands of people would go to every Jaguars game just to see him. Football is a business, and Tebow would be a tremendous financial investment for Wayne Weaver. --Im about to go look up the PFT Article. This is ludicrous. Has anything such as this supposed act ever been done before?WalterFootball.com
