The Jacksonville Jaguars offense has started to get rolling the past two days, so of course that means two of the emerging playmakers on offense are now injured. Wide receivers Cecil Shorts III and Justin Blackmon both sat out practice on Thursday with leg injuries which has led many to wonder if either will play on Sunday.
Shorts has emerged as a consistent playmaker for the Jaguars offense and Blackmon has just started to get going now that Chad Henne has taken over the quarterback position. Blackmon exploded with a big game against the Texans and picked up another touchdown against the Titans, but is now dealing with a groin injury.
If the two receivers miss practice again on Friday and aren't able to go for the game against the Buffalo Bills they'll be strained at the wide receiver with Kevin Elliott and Jordan Shipley as the starting wide receivers, I guess?
