Jacksonville Jaguars sign several linebackers after Paul Posluszny's injury - UPI.com
The broken right hand suffered by middle linebacker Paul Posluszny in Tennessee Sunday left the Jacksonville Jaguars scrambling for linebackers Monday. Combined with the groin injury that has sidelined Dan Skuta the last two games, the Jaguars were left thin at the position so they brought in four linebackers for tryouts and signed two of them - one to the active roster and one to the practice squad.

Blake Bortles among highest upside quarterbacks in fantasy football - ESPN.com
Bortles has been a fairly inconsistent fantasy scorer this year, posting three games with 13 or fewer points, three games with 15-18 points and six games of 20 or more points. That type of hit-or-miss history might make fantasy owners a bit hesitant to start him no matter the matchup, but that hesitance should go away in a Week 14 contest against the Indianapolis Colts.

FILM ROOM: Breaking down Tyson Alualu's Spider 2 Y Banana - BigCatCountry.com
It has been five years since the Jaguars reached for Cal defensive tackle Tyson Alualu at 10th overall in the 2010 NFL Draft. Since then, Alualu has performed somewhat steadily in his rotational DT position but has failed to validate his high draft selection. This season, however, Alualu has transformed into a multi-dimensional threat.

If it's not displaced

Club it up and let him go. There are no other viable options at mike

We need to replace Poz anyway. Jordann Tripp next cab off the rank. Then Hayes Pullard, Sean Porter and Joplo Bartu???

I was looking at the draft and Reggie Ragland who is a good player but I fear he may be strictly 3-4 inside linebacker. He looks big but slow.
Myles Jack could be the answer. OrJalen Smith but I prefer Myles who is more active and a better athlete.

Do ya not remember the Tampa game

POZ is a great mike LB ….. middle LB’s are there to stop the run and that is what he does best. Sure his cover skills are not the best BUT giving up 240 yards on the ground without POZ. NO thanks POZ earns his pay.

Yeah stopping the run is nice

But constantly giving up third down completions over the middle because Poz cannot cover doesn’t outweigh the positives.

He has no excuse not to play Sunday

I just saw a clip of JJ Watt and his hard cast. He BROKE his hand and he’s going to be playing this Sunday against New England. Man up Poz.
